Qualifications and experience
OAM, B.A., M.A (Hons 1), Dip Ed, MAICD
Virginia has extensive experience in charity administration, education, and local government, and is a former Councillor and Mayor of Mosman. She has experience working with older citizens and was on the Board of UnitingCare Ageing Northern Sydney. She is the current Chairperson of Taldumande Youth Services. Virginia received an OAM for her service to the community.
She was previously a Director of Mosman Community College, Mosman Bendigo Bank and Mosman Community Services, and was a Councillor on Mosman Council for 16 years, including three years as Mayor and one year as Deputy Mayor. She has been the Administrator of Mosman Meals on Wheels, School Projects Officer for Australian Red Cross in NSW, taught English at Loreto Kirribilli, undertook Community Relations at Queenwood School, and was the Executive Director of the Wenona Foundation.
She is a strong believer in social justice and respecting and helping two sections of the community who are often not listened to: teenagers and older citizens.

Board Chairperson; Company Secretary, Clinical Governance and Care Committee Member, and ex officio member of all Board Committees.
